Solar Interference Spring 2019

During the next couple of weeks your service might experience brief outages due to solar interference. This is a normal occurrence that happens twice (during Spring and Fall) a year and unfortunately cannot be avoided. The reason for the interference is because the sun and the satellite align in the field of view of the receiving antenna and the sun's radiation overwhelm the satellite signals. The sun interference will affect your service briefly every day for a period of a few days.

Please be aware the below calculations are being made for our antennas in our Teleport and the outages varies for each location.
