Solar Interference Spring 2017
Posted by Bas Vogel on 15 February 2017 02:24 PM

Dear customer,

By the end of February and the beginning of March 2017 your service might experience brief outages due to solar interference. This is a normal occurrence that happens twice (during Spring and Fall) a year and unfortunately cannot be avoided. The reason for the interference is because of the sun and the satellite align in the field of view of the receiving antenna and the sun's radiation overwhelm the satellite signals. The sun interference will affect your service briefly every day for a period of a few days. Please see the tables below for expected disruption time.
